Outdoor Heritage Days
2011 Heritage Days was a great success. If you missed it we hope to see you next year.
After the crazy days of summer, Garden City hosts one of the best events of the year. ‘Bear Lake Outdoor Heritage Days’ are held the weekend following Labor Day. The Valley comes together to celebrate the Heritage of the valley. Come dressed in period costume. Join in the parade! Displays from various vendors, which depict the heritage of the valley with a western theme, give visitors the opportunity to learn and buy artifacts.
This year the fun begins on Friday the 9th at 2:00 PM, with booth displays, a Talent Show, Quest Hunt and a Dutch Oven & Pot Luck Dinner.
Saturday the events begin at 10:00 AM, with booth displays, fun and games throughout the day, and a parade. The day will end with a concert by the 'Saddle Strings' Western Band, and a drawing for 5 guns that are being raffled.
